MRCS UK is an internationally recognised Post Graduate Level Qualification in Surgery. MRCS(Member Of The Royal College Of Surgeons ) is awarded to students on successfully passing the examinations conducted by the Royal College Of Surgeons UK.
- It is recognised by the MCI. Unlike other PG medical courses in India which require NEET PG and that of UK which require PLAB and IELTS, MRCS does not require any of those.
- If you have a MBBS Degree with 1 year of Internship you can apply for MRCS.
- On completion of the course doctors can work in clinical positions and academic positions in India and abroad.

Intercollegiate MRCS Part A
A five hour exam consisting of two papers which takes place on the same day. The AM paper is of 3 hours and the PM paper is of 2 hours. One must hold a medical degree that is acceptable to the UK General Medical Council (GMC) for full or provisional registration or to the Medical Council in Ireland for full or temporary registration.

INTERCOLLEGIATE MRCS PART B OSCE
This is an objective structured clinical exam (OSCE) One must hold a medical degree that is acceptable to the UK General Medical Council (GMC) for full or provisional registration or to the Medical Council in Ireland for full or temporary registration.
